Dual fan assemblies were used in the original Xbox 360, pulling air through the heatsink via a plastic shroud. There are three different fan models supplied by various vendors.
On Xenon motherboards, the fans use a 4-pin connector, providing separate power and ground lines for each fan. On all later models, a 3-pin fan connector is used, with a shared (common) power and ground for both fans.
